ADRIANA COSTIN PROMOTED TO COPOLYMER PLANT SUPERVISOR IN PUROLITE ROMANIA
July 20, 2018 —Victoria, Romania–Purolite is proud to announce the promotion of Adriana Costin to the position of Copolymer Plant Supervisor. In this new role, she will lead all activity in the copolymer installation and spearhead productivity improvements. Adriana will report directly to the Production Manager.
Adriana joined Purolite Romania as a Process Engineer in May 2008 and has been with Purolite ever since.
Before coming to Purolite, Adriana worked as a Chemical Engineer. She graduated the ”Gheorghe Asachi” University in Iași, with a major in Biochemical Engineering and in 2005, Adriana earned her Master’s degree in Ecological Catalyzation at the same university.
Thinking about this job promotion, Adriana notes, “I think that my work as a Process Engineer showed that I have great discipline, perseverance and reliability. My ex-post helped me tremendously in knowing and understanding the equipment and gave me the opportunity to learn and adapt to the current and future requirements. The new position changes my responsibilities, but the former responsibilities will help me in implementing the new ones in a reliable and experienced way.”
Referring to her role within Purolite, she notes “I enjoy the professional challenges. This new post means continuous development for me. I'm working in a new branch of an existing plant. New products and new market requirements present challenges to solve, and I greatly enjoy this.Every day is something new and exciting. I love what I am doing!”
Her collegues state that Adriana is a very open person, with strong technical abilities and excellent communication skills.
In the spare time, Adriana enjoys watching and playing sports—particularly tennis and volleyball.
