Our weak acid cation macroporous ion exchange resin products have fast kinetics and high capacity and similar to all macroporous products have high oxidative resistance and osmotic shock.

They are primarily used for dealkalization and softening of water but have also been used to selectively recover transition metals.

Weak acid cation macroporous resin products have carboxylic functional groups which give high chemical efficiency in many applications including the removal of bicarbonate alkalinity.
