With a large technical sales team, five R&D centers, and five manufacturing facilities, Purolite is well-equipped to address complex customer challenges with customized solutions.

“By expanding our global production capabilities, we are determined to further address our customers’ need for security of supply, while ensuring the availability for high-quality, innovative ion exchange resin” said Hayley Crowe, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Purolite. “Following the acquisition of Purolite in 2021, Ecolab has prioritized investing in existing and new production facilities around the world, supporting production of resin for critical industries that protect people, planet, and business health.”

With employees in 30 countries supporting customers around the world, Purolite currently supplies customers from five strategically located manufacturing sites in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; King of Prussia, Pennsylvania; Wales, United Kingdom; Victoria, Jud. Brasov, Romania; and Huzhou, China. This global manufacturing footprint sets the company apart from its competitors.

In the last two years, the company has rapidly expanded its production capacity by investing in new manufacturing sites in the United States and the United Kingdom. In the United States, the company has announced a new manufacturing site in Landenberg, Pennsylvania, and completed construction on a state-of-the-art facility in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. Purolite also expanded its existing facility in Wales, United Kingdom.

To better serve customers in China and the Asia Pacific region, Purolite has also announced plans to build a new plant in the Quzhou Industrial Park. Construction will begin in 2024, with deliveries to customers expected to commence in late 2026. Focusing on producing resins for water and industrial markets, the new plant will significantly expand Purolite’s global production and reduce supply lead times for customer deliveries.

Purolite's global expansion reflects its continued commitment to meeting the growing demand for resin solutions worldwide. By establishing a stronger global presence, the company is delivering reliable, high-quality resin products, while ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction.
