What is the Purolite Chromatography Masterclass?

The chromatography masterclass is a series of five seminars designed to engage and educate chromatography. Each seminar goes through various techniques, applications, system configurations, and media chemistry which helps learners to select the perfect chromatography media for their specific needs, with a spotlight on standard protein purification methods. 

What is the layout of this course?

There are five pre-recorded seminars around forty-five minutes long, which can be watched at your leisure, with each session accompanied by a range of supporting slides, studies, and whitepapers to help continue your learning.

The series starts with the Fundamentals of Chromatography, which provides an excellent introduction for those new to the field. The seminar begins with expression and extraction and explains chromatography principles, key terms and concepts, and what to consider when designing a purification. The following four seminars concentrate on one chromatography technique, building on the basics already learned to give in-depth knowledge to design and optimize your purification.

One of the key highlights of the masterclass is the way the information is shared, starting with the basics and building knowledge as the series progresses, ensuring that the learner is never out of their depth and the course is both enjoyable and useful. We have also included the skills you need to ensure your purification is fit for purpose. What do I mean by this? Well, you have to consider very different things if your purification has the potential to scale up for manufacture.
