Purolite Named 2023 Economic Development Award Winner

King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, United States – April 5, 2023 – Purolite has been named 2023 Economic Development Award winner by the King of Prussia (Pa.) District. The award was presented to Purolite's Tyanisa Bell, Quality Control Supervisor, at the King of Prussia District's 2023 Annual Report to the Community event on March 30 at the Sheraton Valley Forge hotel in King of Prussia. Eric T. Goldstein, President and CEO of the King of Prussia District, presented the award.
 
The Business Improvement District Jury and Township, county and local chamber officials selected Purolite as a winner in the economic development category. The award recognizes Purolite's commitment to the King of Prussia area and the completion of the company's new manufacturing facility at 3700 Horizon Boulevard. Each year, King of Prussia District recognizes people, projects and companies advancing King of Prussia's transformation. The award winners exemplify excellence in their respective fields and contribute to King of Prussia District's mission of making King of Prussia more attractive, vibrant and prosperous. 

Purolite’s new manufacturing site opened in December 2022 and will eventually house two cleanrooms - the first one is already operational - to manufacture active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and excipients. The two new clean rooms add to Purolite’s four existing cleanrooms in Romania. The new facility is located blocks from Purolite's global headquarters.
 
Purolite is proud to be part of the King of Prussia and the emerging biotech Celledon Valley community. The King of Prussia District welcomed Purolite during its headquarters relocation to the area in December 2019. Purolite’s new manufacturing facility is the next exciting chapter in its story of continued growth.
