Purolite Brazil Office 100% Operational

Some of the recent COVID-19 global hot spots have been in South America, but that hasn’t affected Purolite. At the outset of the pandemic, Purolite's office in São Paulo, Brazil immediately implemented safety procedures. Staff began working in two shifts—alternating between working from home one day and in the office the next to minimize contact. While in the office, restrictions and safety measures were implemented—face masks, hand washing/sanitizer, disinfecting high-use areas, etc. New office cleaning procedures and products were also adopted, all with the goal of providing a clean and safe workplace. This procedure resulted in zero COVID-19 cases and they were able to attend to customers even while out of the office.

In mid-July, all employees were able to return to the office on a regular basis, still taking the necessary care (facial masks, social distancing, etc.). Distance markers were added in the cafeteria and around the office to serve as a reminder. They continue these efforts and are pleased to report no employees in the office have been diagnosed with the virus and the company has remained 100% operational.
