Offering Cost-Effective Solutions to Molecule Development

Drug developers face a significant challenge in controlling production costs while achieving high standards of efficacy. The Purolite AP+ resin platform for antibody purification can help improve the efficiency of novel and legacy processes.

Praesto AP+80 and AP+50 resins are designed for the purification of a wide range of mAbs and related constructs.

Praesto AP+80 offers good capacity and flow characteristics designed for speed and easy
implementation in conventional column bed heights.

Praesto AP+50 offers our highest capacity and resin utilization to support process intensification.

Praesto AP+ protein A resins can be implemented easily into pre-existing facilities and meet current operational parameters.

Purolite™ Chromatography Resins

Praesto AP+80 and AP+50 resins are manufactured using patented Jetted Technology, ensuring uniform particle size for enhanced quality and performance.

Jetted Technology supports sustainability through reduced use of harmful solvents and water usage. Compared to traditional methods, Jetting accelerates time to market with fewer production steps

High capacity 50 μm protein A resin

Excellent Impurity Clearance

AP+80 Product Data

Alkaline Stability
Sodium hydroxide (NaOH) exhibits high efficiency in removing bound proteins, nucleic acids, and lipids from bioprocess resins, alleviating the risk of fouling on heavily burdened Protein A columns. Purolite AP+80 maintains excellent capacity after exposure to 0.1 M NaOH for 400 cycles, facilitating efficient CIP and longer resin lifetime.
Pressure Flow AP-80-Pressure-Flow
With Purolite AP+80, flows of up to 350 cm/h are achievable at 25 cm bed height in a 30 cm diameter columns, within the safe operational window of less than 2 bar pressure.
Dynamic Binding Capacity
Capacity data for an IgG1 subclass monoclonal antibody on Purolite AP+80 at 3, 4.8, 6, and 10-minute residence time.

Purolite AP+80 offers comparable binding capacity to competitor resins, allowing for consistency in existing processes and use of existing columns.

AP+50 Product Data

Operational Flow
Expected operational flow window for Praesto AP+50, generated at 30 cm inner diameter.
Pressure Flow
Pressure versus flow for Praesto AP+50 at 30 cm inner diameter with bed heights of 10, 15, 20 & 25 cm. Packed by pressure and manual compression in a BPG 300 column.
Dynamic Binding Capacity
Dynamic binding capacity of human polyclonal immunoglobulin G at multiple residence times. Loading using PBS at pH 7.2 in a column of 0.66 inner diameter and 10 cm bed height.
