Huzhou, Zhejiang, China – May 1, 2020 – Purolite’s production plant in Huzhou, Zhejiang, China recently received ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications. The scope of ISO 14001:2015 covers environmental management and ISO 45001:2018 covers occupational health and safety management. The two new certifications are in addition to the site’s current ISO 9001:2015 certification for design, development and manufacture of ion exchange resins and adsorbents. All three certifications were issued by WIT Assessment, a certifying agency for management systems.

ISO compliance is not a law. It is a voluntary agreement to follow the standards for best practices that your company develops. It is a foundation for making the company’s products and services consistent across the organization, with an eye toward process improvement, evidence-based decision making, team involvement and customer satisfaction.

In 2018, the Zhejiang site became Purolite’s first location to transition its ISO quality management system from ISO 9001:2008 to the current ISO 9001:2015 standard. Purolite received its updated certification for this on January 25, 2019.

Purolite would like to thank Amy Xiang and her dedicated team for a job well done.
