CĂTĂLIN ZAHARIA PROMOTED TO PROJECT MANAGER IN PUROLITE ROMANIA

July 1, 2018 — Victoria, Romania – Purolite is proud to announce the promotion of Cătălin Zaharia to the position of Project Manager. In his new role, he will be responsible for all projects – improvement, brownfield and greenfield as well in Purolite and will report directly to Plant General Manager.

Cătălin joined Purolite Romania as a Process Engineer in October 2009 and contributed extensively in various improvement projects in Purolite.

Thinking about his job promotion, Cătălin notes, “In this way, I have been given more trust due to my work and results over the years. Tasks and responsibilities have also increased with this promotion, but I perceive it as a natural development of things and as a new challenge.”

Referring to his activity in Purolite, he also notes “ I like my work and what I am doing here. For me, is really nice to see how the projects ideas come true.”

Prior joining Purolite Romania he worked at a large Petrochemical and Heavy Chemical complex in Romania, where he gathered rich hands of experience in the field of chemical engineering and Unit operation.

Cătălin is graduated from the University of Iași – Faculty of Industrial Chemistry, with a major in Macromolecular Compounds Technology in 2005.

In the spare time, his family comes first. He enjoys spending quality time with his wife and his children, family picnics near the mountains and fishing as well.
