From July 22 to 23, 2021, Purolite attended the 6th Bisphenol A and Polycarbonate Value Chain Forum in Xiamen, Fujian Province, P.R. China.
China is an important driver of global polycarbonate demand growth, and its consumption has increased rapidly in recent years. From 2010 to 2020, the compound annual growth rate of polycarbonate consumption in China was 8%. In 2020, the apparent consumption was 2.5 million tons, an increase of 12.6% over 2019.
