Macronet™ Products

Macronet adsorbents have macropores to provide rapid access to the internal surfaces within the resin bead and micropores to provide a high surface area. They can be functionalized to provide high capacities and selectivity, in order to enhance purification and separations performance.

The key properties of Macronets are:

  • Long life compared to conventional adsorbents

  • Easily regenerated with conventional ion exchange regenerants NaCl, NaOH

  • Compatible with most common solvents

  • Easily regenerated in situ with steam stripping

  • High loading capacities for the substrates to be adsorbed

  • Very high strength with breaking weights in excess of 700 g/bead
