Purolite Attends the AEHS Foundation 35th Annual International Conference on Soils, Sediments, Water and Energy

Purolite exhibited at the AEHS Foundation’s 35th Annual International Conference on Soils, Sediments, Water and Energy from October 21st to October 24th at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Purolite’s Northeast Regional Manager Joe Klimek and Marketing Coordinator Hilary Valentine attended the show, specifically highlighting Purolite technology for PFAS removal from potable and ground water. Purofine® PFA694E, a specially designed ion exchange resin with high selectivity for poly- and perfluoroalkyl substances such as PFOA and PFOS, was a hot topic throughout the event, garnering a lot of interest from attendees. Joe Klimek also participated in the poster presentation sessions with our entry “The Latest in Field-Proven PFAS Treatment Technology”, describing a drinking water pilot study that demonstrated the  performance advantages of Purolite PFAS-selective resin versus bituminous GAC.

The Annual Conference attracted over 700 attendees which included representatives from a variety of different fields such as state and federal agencies, military personnel, environmental engineers, environmental consultants, and academics. During the conference, participants were able to attend a variety of technical workshops and networking opportunities throughout the week.
