Lactulose is a non-absorbable sugar used in the treatment of constipation and heptic encephalopathy. Our ion exchange resins are used for whey protein extraction and demineralization. The whey proteins consist of α-lactalbumin, β-lactoglobulin, serum albumin and immunoglobulins which are dietary supplements. Lactoferrin is another example of a protein extracted from dairy as it provides antibacterial activity to human infants.
