Cathy Zhou Promoted to Vice President of the Asian Territories

June 11, 2021 - Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China – Purolite is pleased to announce the promotion of Cathy Zhou to Vice President of the Asian territories. She joined Purolite in 2007 and most recently served as Vice President of Purolite China.

Her responsibilities will include developing the strategy and business for Purolite in Asia, a role that will allow her to utilize her strong market insight skills. Two of her recent accomplishments include meeting both business and employee safety goals of Purolite China during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Cathy has successfully built China sales with a forward-looking strategy...and built strong relationships within those markets,” notes Steve Brodie, President and CEO of Purolite Corporation. “She will become part of the strategy and strategic growth of our offices in Asia.”

A graduate of Sussex University in the United Kingdom, her degree is international investment law (LLM). Before joining Purolite, she was a law specialist in foreign investment in China.

Cathy appreciates the supportive team at Purolite and the responsiveness of senior management. “I have a ‘roll up the sleeves and get the job done' approach to work. My goal is to achieve the vision for the Asia region for Purolite set by [the late] Alan Joynes,” she added.
