Hilary Valentine Joins Purolite USA

May 20th, 2019 – Philadelphia PA – Purolite is happy to announce the newest member of the U.S. Marketing team, Hilary Valentine. Hilary will be the new Marketing Coordinator at the Bala-Cynwyd, PA headquarters, managing the trade shows. In her new position, Hilary will report to Jeffrey Frain, Marketing Director.

Hilary found Purolite with the help of a locally based recruiting agency. “My ideal career is with a company that challenges me. I want to be able to walk in every morning feeling proud of where I work, and be part of an office environment where my co-workers are too. During my search for a new position, I was looking for a larger office environment that could provide me with challenging work. When I received the offer from Purolite, it far exceeded my expectations, and I am happy to have a chance to be a part of this company,” Hilary shares about connecting with Purolite.

Hilary explained that her fellow co-workers will appreciate her creativity, quirkiness, and work ethic. She shares that she is motivated by doing her best. “I want to put in as much effort as possible and be proud of my own work. Personal accomplishment is very motivational to me, and I want to go above and beyond the expectations of my co-workers.”

Hilary studied English at Temple University in Philadelphia. She is proficient in Microsoft Word and Adobe platforms. Hilary comes to Purolite with experience in Trade show management and promotional product design from her previous position at Penn Emblem Co., a manufacturer of embellishments and patches for company branding. She mentions that one of her special skills is her organization, and that she is focused on marketing; applying her background knowledge of writing and her creativity to accomplish marketing tasks. In her new position, Hilary will be responsible for all aspects of the trade shows that Purolite attends, including employee registrations, logistics, social media and more.

Outside of work, Hillary is a certified scuba diver, and has dived at sights such as La Holla, California, and Cozumel, Mexico. She also was a volunteer diver at the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, NJ. Some of her other hobbies include costume design for conventions and events, spending time in Philadelphia, and enjoying the local cuisine. She lives in Yardley, PA with her pet cat, Luna.

On joining the company, Hilary shares, “I am thankful for the opportunity Purolite has given me! I’m very excited to meet and work with everyone here, and I plan to hit the ground running, and put in as much effort as I can.”
