A Snowy Start to the Holidays

The Bala Cynwyd and G Street locations kicked off the holiday season with a buffet style party in Conshohocken's lovely Southern Cross Kitchen. The restaurant owes its name to a crossing of tradional southern cooking and jazzed up variations of comfort food. Those there to party were excited to try all the delicios food the restaurant put togther, like sweet and sour potato spuds, a seafood jambalaya, fried pickles, mac n' cheese, and catfish sliders. And to top it all off, desserts included an assortment of chocolate treats and decadant cookies!

After all had their fill of dinner, Jacob Brodie, Vice President, gave an uplifting speech about coming together during times of need and thanking everyone for their commitment to one another. Shortly thereafter, Jason Jay and Bob Rausch in Finance, were recognized for celebrating five years with the company! Before closing out on the celebrations, a handful of gift cards were given out to those lucky enough to have their names randomly selected from a box of all employees at G Street and Bala Cynwyd.

While Purolite employees were celebrating inside where it was nice and warm, Mother Nature had other plans outside. What seemed like a light snow fall only a few hours earlier turned into a 2-3 inch blanket of white along the Schuylkill River. Some employees faced the tortoise speed, bumper to bumper traffic on the I-76 while others chose to avoid traffic and travel the hilly backroads of Pennsylvania. Nevertheless, all routes were covered in snow, ice, and occaisonally salt, leading to traffic jams and extended travel time. Thankfully, the winter weather didn't stop employees from having a great time during the party. Laughs were abundant and cheer could be felt throughout.

We at Purolite would like to wish you all well in this holiday season and a Happy New Year!
