Purolite Supports Duke Energy's 2017 Fundraiser for the United Way

On Friday, June 30th, 2017, Purolite’s Oliver Baumann took part in the annual charity golf benefit for the United Way of Gibson County, sponsored by Duke Energy’s Gibson Generating Station. The event took place at the Mt. Carmel Golf Course in Mt. Carmel, Illinois. 
The tournament was a four-person team scramble and Oliver joined a team with Cary Maurer (Duke Gibson), Sarah Hamman (Duke Gibson) and Brad Bartz (Nalco/Ecolab). The tournament featured 22 teams in the morning and an additional 14 teams in the afternoon.
Carrie Martin, Administrative Specialist for the Gibson Station noted that this year’s event raised $12,566 for the United Way. Purolite was a sponsor of the tournament’s 9th hole and is proud to take part in this very worthy event.
