2016 CHOP Fundraiser

Purolite Employees Raise Money for Children's Hospital of Philadelphia

Purolite office and production employees in Philadelphia raised over $7,400 this year in support of the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Children's Fund—doubling contributions from last year! In two years, Purolite has raised over $11,700 for the Fund.

This year, the top departmental contributions came from our Marketing and Customer Service teams from the corporate headquarters, and from the Cation Production team at the plant.

In addition to their generosity, representatives from Purolite were able to volunteer at the phone banks on November 29, 2016 to take donations from individual callers during the Radiothon sponsored by local radio station WOGL. Doree Jacobs, Steve West, Shawn Walsh and Sharnett Williams had a great time helping out on the phones. These philanthropic donations power the lifesaving treatments and breakthrough discoveries at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and are invaluable to keeping experiences positive while the kids stay at the hospital.

"This was an awesome opportunity to be able to do this," notes Doree Jacob, receptionist for Purolite in the USA. "I would do it again and again year after year. Seeing how much it means to the kids and their parents really brought to light how much work is done at this incredible facility."

Purolite thanks all of our generous employee contributors, and all individual donors who called in to support the cause.
