Lifetech ECR8806F is a methacrylic polymer functionalised with octadecyl groups. It is used for enzyme immobilization by adsorption (hydrophobic interaction) and it is particularly suitable for lipase and transaminases immobilization. Lifetech ECR8806F main features are very enzyme activity achieved upon immobilization compared to other existing resins.

Principal Applications

  • Enzyme immobilization by adsorption
  • Lipase immobilization
  • Suitable for immobilization of a wide range of enzymes (including transaminases)

Advantages

  • Medium porosity
  • High lipase CALB activity upon immobilization (>10000PLU/g)
  • Easily dried after immobilization

Systems

  • Particularly suitable for batch configuration
  • Optimal for use in organic solvent/water free systems

Regulatory Approvals

  • ResAP(2004)3 Status (food grade)
