Lifetech ECR1504 is a copolymer of divinylbenzene (DVB) and styerene functionalised with tertiary amines. It is used for enzyme immobilization by ionic interaction of the ionizable surface aminoacids (Lys, Arg, His, Asp, Glu) with the tertiary amines on the polymer. It is particularly suitable for immobilization of enzymes with iP in the range 3 - 5 like many glycosidaseses. Lifetech ECR1504 main features are possibility to regenerate the resin, pH adjustment before immobilization and large particle size for column applications.
