Energy Generation Conference 2017

As snow fell on cold January days in Bismarck, ND, Purolite's Frank Burinsky and Oliver Baumann were excited to be indoors attending Booth #1311 at the 38th Annual Energy Generation Conference. Running from January 24 - January 26 at the Bismarck Events Center, this event is a cooperative effort among producers, suppliers and educators to promote competitive, efficient and safe energy production.

Oliver Baumann, Purolite’s Midwest Sales Manager noted, “We always enjoy going to EGC to talk to customers in the Power market about how to utilize their ion exchange systems effectively. People are always interested to know how system optimization and troubleshooting can help them increase throughput, and greatly reduce chemical and water usage associated with regeneration.” Oliver also adds, “Condensate polishing systems follow the same principle. The effectiveness and quality of the resin is directly related to the efficiency of the system.”

Purolite provides reliable service to all sectors of power generation through pretreatment analysis, on- and off-site system analysis, regeneration analysis, resin sampling analysis, cost performance analysis, emergency troubleshooting, system simulations, column evaluations, and application & needs analysis. Additionally, Purolite can do on-site technical training/IEX consulting to in-house teams to bring a better understanding of the systems & applications, as well as the resin characteristics.
