2017 ISOE ALARA Symposium for Radiation Protection Professionals

Purolite's Terry Heller and Darrell Shaffer are attending this year's ALARA Symposium in Fort Lauderdale, FL, USA. The symposium, which is celebrating the 25th year of the global Information System on Occupational Exposure (ISOE), highlights best practices for radiation protection used within the nuclear energy generation industry to assure safe and efficient operation of operating power reactors.

The symposium, which runs January 9 – 11 2017, will feature technical papers and exhibits on the latest approaches in work management, dose control, remote monitoring, and dose measurement and covers BWR, CANDU, PWR and VVER systems. Attendees will also learn ideas for successful refueling and maintenance.
