PureDesign™ is a free innovative Ion Exchange simulation program created by The Purolite Company upon registration.
PureDesign™ is a windows based software program, offering the facility of design and simulation of Ion Exchange Plant commonly used in water treatment processes, unique in that it provides the means to study all aspects of plant design associated with ion exchange resin performance.
PureDesign™ is a tool developed for use by, and as an assistant to, experienced design engineers.
PureDesign™ serves as an aid to the design engineer, and makes no claim to be a substitute for professional experience and knowledge.
PureDesign™ has been developed to assist in, for example:

Design of new ion exchange plants.

Convenient comparisons of a comprehensive range of variations in flow diagrams and choice of resins.

Evaluation of the effects of changes in modes and conditions of regeneration.

Evaluation of the contribution of the column design to the ion exchange performance by calculation of selectivity and kinetics in batch systems.

Simulation of existing plants, performance prediction, and investigation of performance improvement.

Simulation of laboratory and pilot plant scale-up.

Once PureDesign™ has been downloaded, a code will be necessary to activate the program. Your local Purolite Office will be able to provide you with your unique activation code. Please contact your nearest Purolite Office as listed in the Contact page.
Please note, on opening the software a message will be displayed indicating the programme is out of date. This is not the case. However, an updated program will soon be available. Notification on the upgrade will be posted on our website.
